5” (125mm), 6” (150mm) and 8” (200mm) wafers

ITW's 226x226mm base box includes two types of variations known as Canisters and Multi-boxes.

Type 1 : ITW Canisters

The ITW Canister family is composed of three boxes, with identical outer dimensions, designed for the storage and transport of 5”, 6” and 8” wafers, respectively. ITW canisters are fully compatible with Cybernetix automated wafer handling and packing equipment.

Type 2 : ITW Multiboxes

ITW's 226x226mm base box is specifically designed for the storage and transport of 8" wafers. There are four variants based on an unique patented design, which allow our customers to chose the box that suits their individual requirements.

Double Wall
This feature adds strength to the box and suppresses the need for a foam ring.

Single Wall
A foam ring is required. Placed against the internal side of the wall, it adds some cushioning.

Low Volume
With a lid feature decreasing the internal volume, this box is designed for the storage and transport of approximately 15 wafers.

With a flat lid, the internal volume of this box is optimised and designed for the storage and transport of approximately 25 wafers.
